Electus International Unveils Unscripted Television Slate For MIPTV 2013 Global Marketplace









NEW YORK, March 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (Nasdaq: IACI), today announced that its global distribution arm, Electus International unveiled highlights of its unscripted television programming slate. These include the priority titles from a growing slate that will be brought to market at MIPTV in Cannes, France, which begins on April 8(th). This new block of television programming includes original series concepts developed by Electus and its creative partners, as well as successful third party series that Electus has acquired for international distribution.

72 Hours: From Howard Schultz' Lighthearted Entertainment comes an action-packed, white-knuckle competition series that each week drops three new competing teams of three strangers from a helicopter into the wilderness. The competitors are given only three days, a GPS tracking device and a single bottle of water to find a hidden briefcase full of cash while battling the elements in an effort to get to the money before their competitors do. The series is executive produced by Howard Schultz (The Moment of Truth), Rob LaPlante (The Apprentice) and Brady Connell (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition). Jeff Spangler serves as co-executive producer. 72 Hours is set to premiere on June 6(th) on TNT.

America Unearthed: Forensic geologist Scott Wolter reveals that the history of America we all know may not always be the whole story. Across the country, ancient symbols, religious relics, and unexplained artifacts suggest that civilizations from around the world have left their mark. America Unearthed was originally broadcast on History 2 (H2) and was the highest rated show in the networks' history. The series has been renewed for two additional seasons.

Bet On Your Baby: Bet On Your Baby is a game show in which parents predict their child's next move in the hope of earning prize money towards their college fund. Each family will play a self-contained, individual challenge against the house-meaning they're only competing against themselves, and not against other babies. Bet On Your Baby was created by 5x5 Media's Craig Armstrong, Rick Ringbakk, Charles Wachter and Electus' Ben Silverman and Jimmy Fox. The series is executive produced by Electus (Ben Silverman, Chris Grant, Jimmy Fox) and 5x5 Media (Craig Armstrong and Rick Ringbakk). Bet On Your Baby will premiere on ABC on April 13(th).

Buck Commander: Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame, brings together four former professional baseball player friends to produce Buck Commander DVDs. These DVD's feature them hunting deer, goofing off and living their always entertaining lives. Buck Commander whichoriginally aired on the Outdoor Channel, recently took top honors at the 2013 Outdoor Channels Awards.

Car Lot Rescue: Auto industry expert, Tom Stuker, brings failing car dealerships to new heights of success. In this formatted series, Tom will travel across the USA, each week whipping a different dealership and their employees into shape. Car Lot Rescue was created, developed and executive produced by Vem Miller in association with Vem's Sweatshop Media, Ben Silverman and Jimmy Fox of Electus and Craig Armstrong and Rick Ringbakk of 5x5 Media. Car Lot Rescue was originally broadcast on Spike TV.

Dog & Beth: On the Hunt: The world's most renowned bounty hunters, Dog and Beth Chapman, join forces with son Leland and get back on the front lines by launching a national education & fugitive finding mission. Like never before, they crisscross the United States to support and advise fellow bondsmen and bounty hunters and together they chase the most cunning, notorious and dangerous fugitives on the streets today. The Chapmans are back with their trademark no holds-barred candor and strong belief in second chances, but this time the Chapmans motivate and inspire local bondsmen and bounty hunters during adrenaline-filled hunts, all the while showing their contemporaries a few new tricks along the way. Dog and Beth: On the Hunt was created Dog and Beth Chapman through their production company Entertainment By Bonnie and Clyde. The series is executive-produced by Electus (Ben Silverman, Chris Grant and Jimmy Fox). Dog & Beth: On The Hunt will be broadcast on CMT, April 21(st) at 8PM ET/PT.

Fashion Star (Season 2): Thirteen unknown designers compete in a series of weekly fashion and business challenges that will end with one of them being crowned the next Fashion Star and winning a multi-million dollar contract to launch their own line in three of America's largest retail stores. The Fashion Star format was developed by Ben Silverman of Electus, Rick Ringbakk of Emmy Award-winning 5x5 Media and E.J. Johnston and James Deutch of EJD Productions. The show is executive-produced by Elle Macpherson, Ben Silverman of Electus, Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth of The Magical Elves, Rick Ringbakk of 5x5 Media and EJ Johnston and James Deutch of EJD Productions. Fashion Star was originally broadcast on NBC and is currently airing season two.

Food Fighters: Six amateur cooks square off against six professional chefs to see if their home cooked specialties can stand up against the experts. Electus' Ben Silverman, Chris Grant, Jimmy Fox and Tim Puntillo are the executive producers of the series. Food Fighters will premiere on NBC in the coming months.

Get Out Alive: World-renowned adventurer Bear Grylls leads teams of two beyond their most extreme imaginations in the wild in an adventure reality-competition series. Electus co-produces the series with Bear Grylls Ventures. Get Out Alive is set to air on NBC this July.

King of the Nerds: Competitors spanning the full nerd spectrum to come together to face challenges that will test their intellect, ingenuity, skills and pop-culture prowess. The nerds will first compete as teams before moving on to individual challenges, all with the goal of being named the quintessential master of all things nerdy. King of the Nerds is executive produced by Ben Silverman and Jimmy Fox of Electus, Rick Ringbakk and Craig Armstrong of 5X5 Media, as well as Carradine and Armstrong. The series originally premiered on TBS and has been renewed for a second season.

Mob Wives Season Three: Mob Wives follows the lives of six women having to carry on while their husbands or fathers are in prison for "alleged" Mob-related activities. They are struggling with their identities, their own families and their futures as they try to do what's best for themselves and their children. As they now attempt to pursue their own ambitions, the women find comfort among those who understand their stories most: each other.
